In Loving Memory of DeeDee
Dear Friends and Neighbors,
It is with a heavy heart that I share the news that we said goodbye to DeeDee, our beloved Arvada store cat, this morning.
For more than 20 years, DeeDee has been the quiet supervisor, the greeter, and the heart of our shop. If you’ve visited us in Arvada over the last two decades, you almost certainly saw her. She was a fixture in “her chair,” overseeing the daily operations with a watchful eye.
She was the kind of friend who never met a stranger—she was always open to anyone for petting and never turned down a good ear scratch. She watched us grow, she watched many of your families grow, and she was a constant, comforting presence through it all.
We are so grateful for the long, happy life she shared with us.
DeeDee came to us over 20 years ago from a wonderful rescue organization called Almost Home. To honor her legacy, we have set up a fundraising page to support them.
To make sure her memory helps as many other animals as possible, we will be matching donations made by our community. If you would like to join us in celebrating her life, we invite you to make a contribution to help Almost Home continue their work of connecting pets with their forever families.
