Accessibility Statement
Our commitment to making our website usable for everyone.
Last updated: May 7, 2026
SIG Denver LLC is committed to making wildbirdscolorado.com accessible to the widest possible audience, including people with disabilities. We believe that every visitor deserves an experience that’s easy to use, easy to read, and easy to navigate — whether you’re using a screen reader, a keyboard, voice controls, or any other assistive technology.
Our Commitment
We are working to bring this site into conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with a wide array of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning, and neurological differences.
What We’re Doing
- Testing the site with screen readers (NVDA, VoiceOver) and keyboard-only navigation
- Providing meaningful alternative text for images that convey information
- Using semantic HTML so headings, landmarks, and lists communicate structure correctly to assistive technology
- Maintaining sufficient color contrast for body text and interactive elements
- Ensuring forms have visible labels, clear error messages, and proper focus states
- Providing skip-to-content links so keyboard users can bypass repeated navigation
- Reviewing new pages and features against accessibility checks before they go live
Conformance Status
This website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. “Partially conformant” means that some parts of the content do not yet fully conform to the accessibility standard. We are actively addressing known issues and reviewing the site on an ongoing basis.
Compatibility
This site is designed to be compatible with the following assistive technologies and recent versions of major browsers:
- Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari, and Microsoft Edge (current and previous major versions)
- Screen readers: NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver (macOS / iOS), TalkBack (Android)
- Operating system zoom and text-resize features up to 200%
- Keyboard-only navigation
The site may not display or function as expected on browsers that are no longer supported by their vendors.
Known Limitations
Despite our efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible. Areas we’re actively improving include:
- Older user-submitted photos and blog images that may be missing descriptive alternative text
- Embedded third-party content (maps, video, social media) whose accessibility we do not directly control
- Live cam streams, which may not include captions or audio descriptions
- Some PDF documents that pre-date our current accessibility review
If you encounter any of these limitations and need an alternate format or assistance, please contact us using the details below and we will provide the information in a way that works for you.
In-Store Accessibility
Our store locations are designed to be welcoming and accessible. If you have questions about accessibility at a specific store — including parking, entrances, or assistance with shopping — please call the store directly or contact us using the information below and we’ll be happy to help.
