Watch the birds migrate — in real time.
Mygration is a live migration map for North America. See where hummingbirds, eagles, warblers, and more are showing up this week — right down to your neighborhood. It's like a weather radar, but for birds.
Know what's coming to your backyard.
Built on real-time sighting data from the eBird citizen-science network, Mygration turns millions of daily bird observations into a map you can actually use.

Common Questions
Is Mygration really free?
Yes. No ads, no subscription, no upsells. It's a free tool we built so our customers can enjoy bird migration year-round. We pay the costs, you get the birds.
Where does the sighting data come from?
Mygration uses public data from the Cornell Lab of Ornithology's eBird project — the largest citizen-science bird database in the world. When birders log sightings into eBird, they show up on Mygration within minutes.
Do I need to download an app?
No. Mygration is a web app that works in any modern browser on your phone, tablet, laptop, or smart TV. Save it to your home screen if you want an app-like icon.
What's a "viewer link"?
Each account can generate viewer links — shareable URLs that open a read-only version of your map. Great for putting Mygration on a TV at home, sharing with family, or displaying in classrooms and community centers.
Can I track birds outside Colorado?
Absolutely. Mygration covers all of North America. Set your home location to anywhere in the U.S. or Canada and the map centers there.
Why did Wild Birds Unlimited build this?
We're a local bird store, and our customers are serious about backyard birding. We wanted a way to help you know what's migrating through your area so you can be ready with the right feeders and seed when new species show up. It's our way of giving back to the birding community.
